RETURNS AND EXCHANGES
 
We take great pride in the satisfaction of our customers and hope that you are delighted with your purchase from Outdoor Kids Australia.  However, should you wish to return an item, please refer to our Returns & Exchange policies below.

 
 

Exchanges

Policies and Procedures
 
Tissues in pockets, cow poo on boots or that tell-tale familiar scent of washing powder or sunscreen – unfortunately we’ve seen/smelled/heard some doozies and, unlike large department stores, are very familiar with our range of products. Therefore me must kindly insist:
 
All merchandise that is returned or exchanged MUST be in pristine condition, not worn or used, in original packaging with all tags and labels still attached. Outdoor Kids Australia reserves the right to refuse returns or exchanges if these conditions are not stringently met. Items will not be accepted for return or exchange after 30 days of the invoice date. We reserve the right to charge the customer for delivery costs associated with variations on orders and subsequent exchanges sent to the purchaser after the initial order.
 
If you would like to Exchange your merchandise for any reason, please follow these simple steps:
  1. Email us with details of item/s you wish to exchange and full details of the new item/s required. Please also provide the first & last name in which the order was originally placed, and if possible, include the invoice or order number.
  2. Outdoor Kids Australia will contact you to confirm availability and provide a return authorisation number to be forwarded with return.
  3. Securely package item/s for exchange and send via a recorded delivery service such as Registered Post to provide you with proof of delivery for your security. We will not assume responsibility should the returned item/s get otherwise lost in transit.
PLEASE NOTE:
For health & hygiene reasons and customer care we are unable to accept returns of ear muffs, swimwear (including swim headbands) and thermal underwear.
Any additional freight costs associated with product exchanges (for reasons other than defect) are payable by the purchaser.

 

Returns/Refunds
Policies and Procedures
 
We only stock quality products that have been personally road-tested in our selection process and subjected to stringent quality control measures at the point of manufacture. In the unlikely event of manufacturing defect, please contact us within 30 days of invoice date to arrange a replacement. Should an identical replacement be out of stock or no longer available, a full refund on the item/s will be issued. Please note we do not otherwise offer refunds.

We do not refund postage costs.
 
Situations where we are not obligated to offer refunds, credits or exchanges to customers:
  1. Customer has simply changed their mind about the purchase/s
  2. Have discovered that they can buy the goods cheaper elsewhere
  3. Failure to undertake due care of product or improper usage in manner for which not designed.
  4. Had a defect drawn to attention before purchase (eg. advertised as seconds with fault clearly described)
